Can I trust PC repair companies?

One of the reason why I got into the computer business, was because I couldn't find anyone who I could trust to fix my computer. If something stopped working, I would read books and magazine articles to figure out how to fix it. I'd practice on my computer and on many, many friends computers. As I got more experience at it, I then started to charge people, and now it is one of the service that I offer.

Who can you trust? If you had a chance to read the article on my site at http://PCIN.net/help/articles/fixpc.shtml from BYTE magazine, you know that they couldn't find anything either. They went to several of the major computer chains in the US with a simple problem which involved plugging something in properly to fix it, and some of the places told them they had to replace their mother board, another told them to replace their hard drive. All the problem consisted of was a loose cable.

How do you know companies in your city won't do that? The most important thing you should do is ask around. If you can find 3 people who have had a positive experience with a store, chances are you'll have one too. You could also try "Window Shopping" at that store a few times to see how they treat their customers. Ask a few questions. If they are kind and courteous, they can probably be trusted. If they are rude, then they probably rush through their jobs and possibly don't complete them.

Can you trust PC Improvements? Of course you can! (What else did you think I'd say) We do most of our repairs right there at your house or place of business, so you can watch what I'm are doing. I will explain what I'm doing and answer other questions you have. Our rates are very reasonable, and the service is exceptionable. Visit our PC Repair Services Page for more details.
