PC Repair Service

The thing that started me off here at PC Improvements was PC repair, and I'm still are going strong. Usually if there is an electronic failure on a piece of hardware, it is cheaper and easier to replace it. It is pretty rare though, that a piece of hardware crashes. With simple precautions, you can be sure that everything will work the way it is supposed to. What usually happens instead is that you don't have the proper drivers installed, or you have several pieces of hardware trying to use the same resources. Maybe you can't read your CD-ROM or the sound card isn't working. I specialize in troubleshooting conflicts of all kinds. There are also many things which can be done to make your PC (P is for personal) work for you. I can personalize Windows 95/98 so that it will reflect who you are and your habits. I will also fine tune your system so that it will perform better.

The rates for repair are usually $20/hour and if I go to your home, add $5 more. Most visits only take one hour.
